Growing up, Victoria spent lots of her time in her Nana and Poppa’s country garden which was filled with rose beds and annuals. She has the fondest memories of helping her Nana tend to the extensive flower beds. This is where her passion for botanicals first started to blossom. Her parents also had an apple orchard where they also grew different types of blooms which were sold in their fruit shop. Working with nature and harvesting it’s beauty was a daily part of Victoria’s life growing up and this has developed into a full time passion.
Willoughby Road was launched in 2012, after Victoria had worked for more than 10 years in a handful of Auckland’s successful florists and for both corporate and private clients in the UK and Japan. Victoria now works with a team of highly experienced florists and stylists, who she has handpicked to work within her specific style. Operations Manager, Cintamani Mallinson, ensures that everything runs smoothly and to plan.
Willoughby Road allows Victoria to express her passion for harnessing nature’s true beauty. She loves nothing more than manifesting nature’s colours, textures and variety into gorgeously styled weddings and events that create unforgettable memories for her clients.
We love to and are honoured to regularly work with the following: Abbeville Estate, Allely Estate, Kumeu Valley Estate, Orakei Bay, Okahu Bay, The Tasting Shed, The Wharf, Bracu, Cassels, Markovina, Gracehill along with many more venues all around NZ.
